It’s almost the end of January! That’s really fast. Sigh, school has been rather hell-ish for me. But YAYYY, Chinese New Year festive is here – a good short break for me. Man, I really really really wish the public holidays would be longer.. and..longer… Oh yes! Adrian gave me a pleasant surprise!! Am so glad that Mommy & Daddy love it too! *muuaaaaahhhh

Mei Mei is going to Shanghai tomorrow for 6 months as part of her school internship-exchange programme. I feel… Like crying to sleep? I don’t know.. ~~Think~~ I’ll miss her. It will definitely feel weird without her and all of us especially my mom will miss her a lot for sure..

I can’t wait for sis to be back in June. But when she is back, my third brother would be leaving for New York. He has decided to take his finance degree in New York University. Sigh, he will go New York for F.O.U.R years!

It’s a new year and I know I should be feeling happy. Oh well, I just can’t bear to see my parents worry about the 4 kids all the time. Because I know their worry is more than that.. The house, the loans, the finance, the business and so on. Sometimes I really wish I can take off some of their burden – this will be definitely be one of my new year resolution.

I have a list of new resolutions and it will be written in my book.

Everybody is growing up.. Young adults. I really can’t believe it.

It is just too fast.

I pray that God will protect them, bless them with good health, wisdom, strength, courage and wealth. Most importantly, I can’t wait for the day when they accept Christ.

May this year be a blessed one for myself, my family and for all. Goodnight!

Hello! It has been a while since I last blogged. My apologies. Today, I shall put my work aside and update this.

A recent Christmas dinner with Adrian and his company.

Honestly, going for such high class company dinner is really stressful. Especially when the big boss requested for Adrian and I to sit beside him and his wife!!! Anyway, the food there is so good that thinking about it and looking at the pictures never fail to make me drool. *awww yummmmmyyy!!!

Attended a Social Enterprise conference recently. It was pretty good and stressful at the same time. But God has been altogether good to me. Surprisingly, I was on the Today newspapers. Heh heh, recently before that, I was also on the SMU Campus Crusade newsletter too.

After that conference, both Adrian and I rushed to the airport. Our mini getaway break to KL. It was meant to be a relaxing trip for us so we didn’t really meet our Malaysian friends except we had dinner with Anuar and Esther.

Adrian and I really enjoyed chatting with Anuar on the second night. He was super super funny to the extent of making Adrian & I cried!! HAHAHAHA! Oh yes, we also went to visit this shop that sell arts & crafts and other accessories uniquely made by the Deaf in Malaysia! Amazing work, am so proud of them.

Went to Cambodia with Rachel & Ernest for an outreach trip to the Deaf school in Phnom Penh. We joined the other teams who went there earlier than us. To be honest, this 3 days outreach trip is quite different from the other mission trips I went.

Well, perhaps because its rather short. Another is to me, the kids there were somehow “trapped”. Trapped by their very own nation’s history. I can’t describe my feelings but looking at the eyes caught my attention. It stayed with me even as I returned back home. I hope one day I will be able to tell them stories. Real stories of who Jesus is. Only then would they be able to open their eyes to Him. Frankly, its gonna be difficult especially when there are many barriers to overcome. I hope to visit the other Deaf schools in poorer cities of Cambodia.

Anyway, the kids there are pretty smart. As part of the program, I was supposed to help to teach the kids how to make the origami heart shape. Just after two rounds of showing them how to do it, they were able to fold so many on their own!

Bonding with the kids and young adults over there brought a lot of joy and contentment to me. I also had a good time bonding with Rachel & Ernest. The two of them are really very very nice people. I look forward to going on to more outreach trips with them. Slowly I’m sure they will be able to feel the love and know the truth.

School is starting soon in two weeks time. Hmm… Have you thought of your resolution?

Lord,

Forgive me. Forgive me for my weak heart. It has been a long journey. And I’m not spiritually tired of it. I want to continue to walk closely with You and align myself with you..

Lord, I knew it.. That You are behind all these beautiful work.. All the amazing things for the past few months.. Everything happened because of You. There is a reason behind it – but they are beautiful reasons that You have specially made. I thank You Lord.

Thank you for the unwavering love you had shower me with. Thank you for being by my side all the time. Thank you for being such a doting Father. No words can ever express how great Your love is. As I sign my night prayer to you, I ask that you anoint me with your Holy Spirit once again. Draw me close to you..

Before I close my prayer, I ask that you remove the fear in me. Fill me up with all Your peace, strength, protection & wisdom. Help me to do my best for my exams in the middle of November.

I know its pretty late now. I was listening to this music by jayesslee. This two young ladies is really a blessed twins. Their mom died of cancer. Anyway, their voice is so good that everybody knew about them.

Tired. I still have many presentations to go. I cannot wait to finish them, but.. the truth is I will never finish them. I will have to keep presenting and presenting. !@#$%^&*~!@#$%

Anyway, a picture of me presenting to the DBS.

Just yesterday, this client of mine said “Ah,you are from SMU, you know.. You should be alright with presenting..”. I was taken aback. Well in my mind, I would unfortunately – disagree. Well, yeah I have been presenting since Polytechnic days, but till today, I still feel nervous.

And I thank God again. For my mom’s genes. She can be nervous but you can’t tell at all. Similarly, for my sister, when she’s nervous, you can’t tell too. I don’t know if its good or bad. Oh well. *ranting. Ignore me.
